In a software company, the programmers are the most valuable asset. That's why we pay attention a lot to training, environment, successes or failures.

Organized

We prepare before getting into work. Project analysys is known by all actors. Software design is highly important. We do not jump in coding right away. Project is predictable. Feed-back flows both ways and the software project becomes a success by collaborating with the client.

Technical level

The quality of software project is directly related to quality of the software developers. 20% of the coding time is during construction phase, 80% in the maintenance (statistics from a book). Our code is clear, consistent and commented. It is easy to modify, less bug prone. For each bug that can be repeated, we do a training for everybody. We are technically better and better.

The safe path

In software a problem can be solved in many ways. We have trainings that present the safe path. And quickly presentation of the others and the risks associated to those. We have lists with risks to be avoided. Traps we felt in, we do not want to do it again. Only fools do the same mistake again.

In highschools and universities the software engineering training is far below our company standards.
We select the future software developers based on several criteria:
- want to learn and work
- with growing potential
We do not search for ready prepared software developers. Rara avis.
Video courses - big impact on the learning speed. Many are accompanied by written courses, book chapters and wiki pages.

It was not there from the begining. We got used to record when teaching anything. The database grows, it is already a great repository.

Wiki - we wanted an easy way to write and access our knowledge base.
It contains:
- courses
- traps we felt into in the past and we do not want to repeat the experience.
- exceptions and how to handle them
- various quick copy/paste
- general informations

Environment. Our motto "Work hard, no thorns"

The software project is our main target. And this is not done through pushing desperately our staff. No threats, no warnings or other type toxic behavior. We run marathon, not 100m.
