| The module of Document Management System (DMS) from Taskafe |
The DMS module was outsourced to us, as part of the application Taskafe that intended to become a full ERP.
As file indexer we used the powerful engine of Lucene.
It has many features, reached maturity and the stays as an user frienly DMS module in Taskafe.
Our customer sells our module as part of the whole ERP or as a standalone application.

A web project that improved the interface with the user, making it more friendly, and optimized the allocation process aproximatelly by 10 times. Before, there were 2 persons involved full time, now only one spends two hours a day.
This is the version 2.0. We had to be very careful to migrate correctly the database from Oracle to Postgres, and to be sure nothing is lost or altered.

This project is WEB based.
It is a very large project, among the main objectives are:
- to create a general EDI parser, to parse both standards EANCOM 97 and 2002;
- to be able to display as HTML, PDF and Excel any type of EDI message;
- to allow the clients to create and send messages, either as a response to a received one or as completely new ones;
- to allow the clients to connect to the Tecnet Servers, using a connector written in java, and bring the messages as XML to be inserted in their ERPs, but also a connector that is able to get the messages and insert them directly in the DB using SQL statements configured in XML files;
The main technologies are EJB3 and JSF.
The complexity of the project lead to a large number of files involved in the project:
- It contains close to 500 java files, and more than 300 JSP files.
- The project is deployed on a unix based server, the cron jobs being used to do the intense processor jobs at night, but also the current jobs to read for the new messages and to send the newly created messages.
- The java connector that retrieves the messages in various formats, available to install as a service both on windows and linux.
- The EDI messages are displayed using XSLT transformations, so that we can cope with the big variety of the EDI messages. This project has a general engine that is fed with definitions (parsing, displaying, rendering, etc.), making this program a very adaptive one. This lets the customer to configure the behavior of the application.

A project that has the focus on presentation and on the multilingual aspect. Besides the presentation purpose it has an administrative part, that helps the administrators to add/edit/delete news, to edit the texts in the site (everything is in the database)
The main technologies involved are Struts and Tiles backed by an Oracle database.
